Bike Match
Find the motorcycle that fits you.
Bike Match combines your experience, how you'll ride, your budget and what you want with structured motorcycle data — in a conversation instead of a filter, with reasons instead of percentages.
How it works
Turn your requirements into a real shortlist
Bike Match helps you turn what matters to you into a manageable selection — for your first bike, your next one, or a switch to a different category.
- 1
Tell it where you stand
First bike, next bike or a bike for your child — you start with whatever is on your mind right now.
- 2
Bike Match asks what matters
Only what actually changes the recommendation. What is already known — like the bikes in your garage — isn't asked again.
- 3
Models with reasons
You get concrete models with the reasoning, the tradeoffs and what to check in person — and go straight from there to the model.
A look inside
What Bike Match might ask you
No mandatory questions and no questionnaire: Bike Match only asks what improves your recommendation — and adapts to what you have already said.
- Is this your first motorcycle?
- What have you ridden so far?
- How will you mainly use the bike?
- What's your budget?
- New or used?
- Solo or often with a passenger?
- Touring, everyday, curves, commuting?
- Which riding position do you like?
I just got my A2 licence, commute 20 km to work and like to ride country roads on weekends. I'm 1.68 m tall.
That sounds like a light, easy-to-manage bike with a seat that isn't too high — upright enough for every day, lively enough for curves. Before I show you specific models: does it matter to you to take someone along now and then? That changes which models really fit.
Why Bike Match
Your context and structured motorcycle data — in one conversation
Bike Match isn't a general-purpose chatbot. It combines what you tell it with model data from the Salomoto catalogue and with your garage.
Your context, not a filter
Experience, use, budget, height and preferences shape the conversation — and Bike Match asks when something is missing.
Structured model data
Model details come from the Salomoto catalogue. What isn't there isn't made up — it's called out as unverified.
Facts kept apart from opinions
What you said, what is catalogue data and what is an assessment stay separate. Your budget stays your statement — Bike Match doesn't quote market prices.
Straight on into Salomoto
From every recommendation you go straight to the model, to your BikeDex and into Bike Hunt when you want to check real listings.

Questions
About Bike Match
How are the suggestions made?
From what you tell it in the conversation, from structured model data in the Salomoto catalogue and — if you have an account with a garage — from the bikes you ride or have ridden. There is deliberately no percentage and no "beginner score".
Why do I need an account?
So your conversation is saved, you can pick it up later, and Bike Match can take your garage into account. The account is free.
What counts as a message?
Every message you send that is accepted. Bike Match's replies, rejected input and retries after a technical error don't count.
Does Bike Match know current used prices?
No. Your budget stays your statement. Whether it's enough for a particular model is shown by real, current listings — you can collect and check them in Bike Hunt.
Are licence rules verified?
No. Bike Match takes your licence class into account in the conversation but doesn't replace binding advice. Check the details with a riding school or the licensing authority before you buy.
