RoadDex
Every ride you rode, in one log
RoadDex is your ride log: the Sunday loop, the tour with friends, the track day. Log each ride by hand, connect it to the route you planned and watch your riding grow — without anything tracking you.

Route, ride, RoadDex
Three words, three different things — and Salomoto keeps them apart.
Route
Something planned: saved in My routes, shared with friends or found in Discover.
Ride
Something lived: the day you actually rode it, with the date, distance and how it felt.
RoadDex
Your collection of rides — your riding history, in one place.
Log a ride
Write down what's worth remembering
Road or track, date and bike — the rest is up to you. RoadDex keeps what you enter and nothing more.
- Distance and riding time, or exact start and end times
- Your own rating of the ride, the curves, the scenery and the road surface
- Who rode with you, up to three photos and a note
- Link the ride to one of your saved routes
From route to ride
Planned it, rode it, marked it
On any route — your own, a shared one or one from Discover — Mark as ridden opens the log with the route already filled in. Nothing is saved until you save it, and nothing is matched behind your back.
- Mark as ridden from My routes, a shared route page or Discover
- See your rides on each of your routes
- Riding someone else's route? Save a copy and link the ride to it
Your riding, over time
RoadDex adds up what you logged and turns milestones into badges.
Totals
Number of rides, kilometres ridden and riding time — the sum of what you entered.
Last ride
When you were last out, right at the top of your log.
Badges
From Road Starter at five rides to Road Legend at a hundred, plus badges for the routes you build and share.
To be clear
A log you keep, not a tracker
RoadDex doesn't record GPS, doesn't follow you and never starts a ride by itself. It's the record you choose to keep.
- Manual logging, on your phone or your computer
- Totals are the sum of what you entered
- No map of your movements, no background tracking
- Free, with a Salomoto account
Questions
RoadDex FAQ
What is RoadDex?
RoadDex is Salomoto's ride log: a collection of the rides you've ridden, logged by hand, with distance, riding time, ratings, companions and photos.
Does RoadDex track my rides with GPS?
No. Salomoto records nothing in the background. You log each ride yourself — or prefill it from a route with Mark as ridden.
What's the difference between a route and a ride?
A route is planned and saved in the route planner. A ride is the day you actually rode — it lives in RoadDex and can be linked to a route.
Who can see my rides?
Only you, until you share a ride. A shared ride appears on your profile and in the feed.
Does RoadDex cost anything?
No. RoadDex is free with a Salomoto account.
